Just got the finished copy of “Grip Fast” back from the mastering guru, and all-around juggernaut talent, Kramer. Between he, Erik Blood, and all the immensely talented people I was lucky enough to work with on this album, I think we’ve got a good one. Check back soon for release details, and for this updated website which the fine folks at DumbEyes will once again be working on.

A quick note to say that we just finished mixing the new album, GRIP FAST. A huge thank you to Erik Blood for his tireless work on this record, and additional huge thanks to Will Hallauer, Corey Gutch, Jerry Peerson, Liana Kegley, Peter Lynch, and Matt Brown for their contributions as well. It will be off to Kramer for mastering shortly, and we’ll keep you posted on release details.

Hello friends, and apologies for the huge gap in communication. Just a quick note to say that we are heading into the studio this Friday to begin work on the new album, which will be entitled, GRIP FAST. I’m extremely chuffed to once again be working with Erik Blood, who will produce, and to have such fine players involved as: Matt Brown, Jerry Peerson, Corey Gutch, Will Hallauer, and Peter Lynch. We don’t as of yet, have a release date, but as these details become available, we’ll let you know asap.

Hello Friends,

And a happy new year to you all. I apologize for things being fairly quiet around here lately… I’ve been spending an enjoyable fall and winter playing in Erik Blood’s band. For those of you who STILL haven’t heard his album, what are you waiting for?

However, with the onslaught of horrible Seattle weather, it’s time to start writing again, and the demos have begun for the next album, which I expect will be released sometime in late spring or early summer. As it stands, Erik will once again produce, and I will post details (and maybe some demos) as things progress.

hello friends. for those of you in the seattle area, i hope to see you at chop suey on august 13th for a fine show with our friends in romance, silverteeth, and mother/father. we will start the night off, so for those of you with curfews/day jobs/narcolepsy, this show is for you! further details can be found on the “live” page.

and thanks to everyone who has downloaded Sent To Coventry (and especially those who have chosen to donate). we are still going strong, and have gotten some nice words from the press in the UK about it. if you like what you hear, please tell a friend, because remember, we’re doing this one on our own… no label, no ‘promotional budget’… word of mouth is our greatest weapon!

finally, matt brown has done a smashing remix of ”lights, camera…” and i will be releasing this via myspace, for free, just prior to our show next week. so make sure and check myspace.com/coulter next wednesday, and let me/matt know what you think. if you aren’t aware of matt’s work, he is in the fantastic band, trespassers william, and is a great musician/producer in his own right. investigate!
